Christopher K. Patronella, M.D. FACS, a native Houstonian, graduated from St. Thomas High School in Houston in 1975, received his Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M graduating summa cum laude in 1978, and received his Medical Doctor degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston in 1982.

His outstanding performance in school placed him in the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, the Beta Beta Beta Biological Society, the Phi Kappa Phi Academic Honor Society and the Mu Delta Medical Service Honor Society.

He attended the renowned Ochsner Clinic and Medical Foundation in New Orleans for his internship and surgical residency programs. He completed his plastic surgery fellowship at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston.As co-founder and managing partner of The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery, one of the largest private medical partnerships specializing in cosmetic surgery in the state of Texas, he works closely with ACPS-The SurgiCentre, a private AAAASF, Inc. certified operating room licensed also by the Texas Department of Health to do local or general anesthesia. His influence in formulating the philosophy of The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery is reflected in the specialized service and commitment to excellence in surgical techniques and care provided for his patients. The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery is committed to continuing its ongoing development, setting the highest standards for quality of care in the field of plastic surgery.

Dr. Patronella is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He also has the prestigious honor of being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), elected in 1994 by a committee of his peers and colleagues for outstanding clinical care. He has also been invited as a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons in 1997.

He maintains Active Membership status in the American Society for Plastic Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society of North America and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery which enables him to stay current on the latest developments and technical advances in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He has also been chosen for membership in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery recognizing expertise and experience in the field of cosmetic surgery.

His philosophy of a comprehensive approach for providing plastic surgery has allowed Dr. Patronella to develop an expertise in liposculpture and advanced body contouring techniques through ultrasonic, mini cannula and tumescent liposuction.

In addition, he has received additional training to provide the most advanced methods of facial rejuvenation, such as the deep plane facelift, endoscopic browlift and UltraPulse CO2 laser facial skin resurfacing so that he is able to provide a comprehensive and balanced treatment for the aging face, allowing a more natural change.

Fully certified on the Candela Vascular, the UltraPulse CO2, YAG, Alexandrite, and the Q-Switch Ruby lasers, Dr. Patronella can utilize this advance technology to treat freckles, pigmentations, facial spider veins, birthmarks, and tattoos. His considerable experience with the UltraPulse CO2 laser for facial skin resurfacing has become an important component in treating acne scarring and facial wrinkles due to sun damage and the aging process thus restoring a smoother more youthful skin. In addition, Dr. Patronella has instituted a program for laser hair removal utilizing the most effective technique available.
